SHORT-RANGE

Rider allows you to store ridership data from load and ride checks and to summarize this information on a route-by-route and time-period basis.

Geo provides a geographic database, tools, and map displays that seamlessly integrate with other HASTUS modules. Geo helps easily manage your route and road networks in a user-friendly map-based environment. Geo produces detailed route and deadhead itineraries, calculates accurate distances, and provides network coverage information which can cumulate statistics based on CENSUS data.

Vehicle is used to build a network, manage routes, run times, and distances, define trips and timetables according to applicable service levels, and generate optimized vehicle blocks with or without interlining.

Roster helps you prepare efficient weekly or periodic crew assignments. You can combine daily work and days off into roster positions according to your company’s practices. Based on Crew duties, Roster allows the building of several roster types. It is also possible to manage rotations over multiple roster positions which allows for the creation of more complex work patterns.

Service delivery

Daily Crew allows you to manage weekly and daily changes to planned rosters and provides effective tools for the day-to-day management of transport operations. In seconds, dispatchers can enter employee absences and assign replacement workers to cover absent employees.

The system quickly provides accurate up-to-date information on hours worked, different types of leave, standby lists, and other important information for workforce management that contributes to efficient operations. Detailed actual work performed is exported to a payroll system for final pay calculations.

Daily Vehicle is typically used in combination with DailyCrew to modify or add trip-level information and manage vehicle assignment.

EPM evaluates operator performance against agency-defined rules using employee history recorded elsewhere in HASTUS (e.g., absences, accidents/incidents, comments, service-assessment remarks). It centralizes rule definitions, tracks violations, and automates performance actions (warnings, coaching, retraining) and follow-ups with full auditability.

Dispatch support
Self Service gives employees 24/7 access to their assignments, service messages, payroll reports, and qualifications from any device. They can sign in/out remotely, request overtime, submit delays, exchange work and receive alerts or mandatory messages via the mobile app.
