Assisted the Director of Planning and Scheduling (bus & rail) through the gathering, elaboration and evaluation of information for various projects.

  • Developed Planning and Scheduling specifications for the acquisition and deployment of 3-door articulated buses. Interviewed peer systems to document anticipated operational impact of new vehicle type and accordingly developed Minbus rules & parameters.

  • Provided scenario-testing to evaluate the operational cost implications associated with the acquisition of two new garages (five sites considered) and the potential closure of one of the seven existing garages.

  • Developed staff evaluation and training programs to appraise and augment manual and computer-assisted scheduling expertise of staff.

Assistance du directeur de la planification (autobus et métro) par la compilation, l'évaluation et l'élaboration des renseignements requis pour divers projets.

  • Développement des paramètres de service en vue de l'acquisition et de la mise en service de nouveaux autobus articulés. Conduite d'entrevues auprès d'autres exploitants pour documenter les impacts à anticiper lors de l'exploitation de ces véhicules et ajuster les règles et paramètres du module Minbus en conséquence.

  • Évaluation de scénarios pour déterminer les coûts d'implantation de deux nouveaux centres de transport (cinq sites ont été envisagés), ainsi que la fermeture éventuelle de l'un des sept centres de transport actuels.

  • Montage de programmes de formation et d'évaluation du personnel pour améliorer le savoir-faire de l'équipe dans la conception d'horaires assistée par ordinateur.
