On behalf of Napa County Transportation & Planning Agency (NCTPA), CSched provided a comprehensive analysis and rewrite of fixed-route schedules for each Line at VINE Transit using the HASTUS® scheduling software.

• CSched processed historic AVL records for analysis by the HASTUS® ATP run time calibration tool to adjust timetables for improved punctuality.

• The HASTUS® Meet Builder feature was also applied to improve connections among VINE transit routes as well as with neighbouring transit services. In a similar manner, these timetable revisions addressed passing times at major traffic generators such as schools and universities.

• A final set of vehicle blocks were provided for run cutting by VINE Transit’s private operator. These blocks “anticipated” the next steps of the production process (the run cut) by providing periodic rest periods as required under California’s Wage Order 9 work rule provisions.
