Following the retirement of their Lead Scheduler, BC Transit needed to strengthen the run cutting expertise of its most senior schedulers. Accordingly, CSched performed a review of historical production schedules and of the Operators Labour Contract to ascertain the level scheduling efficiency and develop a training program tailored to the specific needs of BC Transit.
This training program covered both manual and automated run cutting in-line with the tools and algorithmic features of the HASTUS® scheduling software used by BC Transit.
The training program also covered vehicle-blocking strategies known to improve the quality of operator runcuts as well as advance run cutting model such Integrated Scheduling trough which the runcutting process is allowed to modify vehicle blocks.

Suite à la retraite de leur planificateur principal, BC Transit nécessitait un renforcement de son expertise en habillage chez ses planificateurs séniors. En ce sens, CSched a mené une revue planifications d'horaires antécédents et du contrat de travail des opérateurs afin d'assurer un niveau d'efficacité relevé et de développer un programme de formation considérant les besoins spécifiques de BC Transit.
Cette formation a couvert la confection manuelle et automatisée de l'habillage parallèlement à l'exploitation des outils et des algorithmes du logiciel HASTUS® favorisés par BC Transit.
Le programme a aussi couvert des stratégies de graphicage reconnues pour améliorer la qualité des habillages des opérateurs ainsi que des méthodes avancées d'habillage tel que la Planification Intégrée à travers laquelle la création de l'habillage permet la modification du graphicage.
